At our first meeting in June, the Working Group explored what they’d like to see through the quarterly meetings. It’s great that our members see the Hub Working group as an opportunity to:
Work together and network with other
Enable better reach in the community
Represent Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community member interests
Break down silos
Bring the perspectives of a parent with older children to the group
Connect their local school with the community
Work together with the Children’s Centre on referral pathways for vulnerable families
Volunteer and contribute on a community level.
If you're community minded and enthusiastic about contributing to the Community Hub, we have a couple of spots left on the team. Please get in touch with Terressa Hann, our Community Hub Supervisor via email (terressa@healthyenvirons.com.au) or phone the hub on (8671 2461).
